Dr Maya Sharma Crowdfunder Kerry HSE Whistleblower

The psychiatrist who was the whistleblower in Kerry CAMHS Dr Maya Sharma has suffered a great deal.
You can hear me when I say Dr Sharma has endured everything I taught you all about bullying in week 5 of the Learning to Exhale course but from multiple places.
As I also taught you in the HSE, that the NHS when they looked into bullying of a medical professional, more often that not, their careers got ruined. This what is being attempted with Dr Sharma and we can help stop it.
Dr Sharma is to CAMHS what Vicky Phelan was to cervical cancer in Ireland.
Here we now have, I am sad to say, the most extreme example of bullying in the HSE that I have ever heard about or seen in fact.
All the hallmarks that I taught you about bullying are there. Constant chaos, gas lighting, moving goal posts, smear campaigns and more.
This was to essentially destroy Dr Sharma's chances of ever working in CAMHS as a psychiatrist in the state. Add the destruction of their wellbeing. This is a clear case where Dr Sharma was going to be 'pulverised' as a punishment for speaking out.
Dr Sharma was being put into a position of having all the responsibility but none of the decision making power. This is something I would have explained at the start of the class in the 10 HSE hospitals I lectured in.
Despite Dr Sharma having worked for over five years, happily and proficiently, in other CAMHS settings, positively fine and effectively, as a psychiatrist, the long hand of her abusers have even reached the UK to set out to undermine Dr Sharma there.
Dr Sharma now would like to return to Ireland and be based as a psychiatrist in Kerry in private practice.
CAMHS Ireland has a waiting list of over 4000 teens and nearly 2000 of them are waiting for a year after being referred by their GP to see a psychiatrist.
Many psychiatry posts in CAMHS Ireland are empty - there is no psychiatrist.
They are being managed by what is called 'locums' medical professionals who are called in on a temporary not permanent basis. This is only if your region is even lucky enough to get a locum.
However, here we have a qualified psychiatrist who, by virtue of telling the truth, protecting over 250 teens from being overmedicated has ended up now homeless in London through no fault of their own.
Someone somewhere is blocking and 'blacklisting' them. This is plain to see.
So here is a crowdfunder that 'we the people' can support.
We can all come together and bring this psychiatrist back to Ireland to help teens nationally. Dr Sharma has publicly said they would also run a sliding scale cost to teens and their families.
This is a wonderful crowdfunder to support for Dr Sharma and the families of Irish teens in mental health difficulty.
If you have not already got there, we NEED Dr Sharma we really really do. We NEED someone of this calibre working in the state. We NEED a psychiatrist of this qualification and experience working with our young people.
Minister Butler has also come out publicly supporting Dr Sharma. "I am very grateful to Dr Sharma for their service and for coming forward with their concerns. They have made a profound difference to the quality of mental health services for children in Kerry which are now vastly improved and the best staffed in the country," she said.
As you saw from the week 5 class I spoke extensively and forensically about bullying. If there ever was a chance to put the wrong right here it is.
Dr Sharma is now homeless in London as a result of being targeted by those who celebrate the light but who live in the shadows.
